O afecto.

4ª feira é habitualmente o dia em que vou à escolinha 34 jogar de mudar o mundo. Mas esta semana, adiámos para 5ª feira, por isso, os posts aqui no blog também foram todos adiados...

Ontem foi o dia do Afecto (o segundo passo da metodologia Elos).

Começámos por partilhar as belezas e os recursos que encontrámos durante a semana. E embora a maior parte dos meninos não tenha feito o trabalho de casa, todos conseguiram encontrar alguém ou alguma coisa que os inspirasse. A capacidade de olhar apreciativamente para o que os rodeia, acredito, ficou com eles para sempre.

A Paula descreveu-nos sobre uma flor de fios vermelhos que observou no Parque das Nações, a Iris falou-nos de um primo muito especial, o Rodrigo partilhou connosco o talento do pai, a Mónica trouxe uma colagem feita por ela (que foi o sucesso do dia), a professora Ana trouxe uma futura árvore, ainda dentro de um pacote de leite e eu levei uma árvore desenhada por mim. Cada um deles pensou em pelo menos um familiar que poderá vir a ser um recurso durante a realização do nosso sonho colectivo e eu voltei a sentir uma sensação de profunda energia positiva... energia de mudança.

Numa segunda parte, dividimos as crianças em grupos e falámos sobre talentos. Qual o nosso talento, e que história está por trás disso? Durante esta semana é muito importante encontrar pelo menos um talento e uma história (fica o desafio também para quem me lê). Na próxima 4ª feira vamos preparar uma festa!  Vamos celebrar aquilo que fazemos muito bem, que sentimos que melhor nos define, que nos faz sentir especiais, vivos, autênticos. Vamos fazer uma festa sobre a melhor versão de nós mesmos!

Para quem está a fazer o jogo em casa: "busque a pessoa por trás da beleza". Depois de olhar para as belezas e para os recursos, temos de descobrir os talentos. Ouvir activamente as histórias que os outros têm para nos contar e encontrar no mínimo uma história e um talento.

(Se estão a fazer o Oásis para vocês mesmos, então sugiro que escrevam um texto ou façam uma colagem sobre o vosso próprio talento e o partilhem com outros... e comigo :)).

Affection.

Wednesday is usually the day I play to change the world in the school number 34. But this week, we postponed to thursday, so the posts here on the blog were also postponed...

Yesterday was the day of Affection (the second step of the Elos methodology).

We began to share the beauties and resources that we found during the week. And event though most of the kids haven't done the homework, they all managed to find someone or something that inspires them. The ability to look appreciatively to their surroundings, I believe, will stay with them forever.

Paula described one flower with little red wires that she observed, Iris told us about a very special cousin, Rodrigo shared with us the talents of his father, Monica brought a collage made by her (who was the success of the day), teacher Ana brought a future tree, still in a reused package of milk and I brought a tree drawn by me. Each one of them thought of one family member whom may be a resource to accomplish our collective dream and I felt a deep sense of positive energy... energy of change.

In the second part of the class, we divided the children into groups and talked about their talents. What is your talent, and what's the story behind it? During this week is very important to find at least a talent and a story (this challenge is also to you that might be reading this). Next wednesday we'll prepare a party! We will celebrate something that we do really well, that we feel that defines us better, makes us feel special, live, authentic. We will celebrate the best version of ourselves!

For those who are doing the homework: "Find the person behind the beauty." After looking at the beauties and resources, we must find the talents. Listen actively to what others have to tell us and find at least one story and a talent.
